Senior Digital Designer

Who you are

A creative and ambitious senior digital designer with talent, curiosity, and drive.

You’re excited to partner with clients in the start-up space and beyond. To deliver bold, conceptual, and different work that pushes brands further, faster.

Can you be the driving force and creative vision behind our digital output? Happy to share ideas and collaborate without ego? Do you have problem solving, UX, and communication skills in your locker?

What you’ll do:

Create concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity comps to communicate design ideas that illustrate user interaction.

Design UI and UX from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

Collaborate with the design team to share ideas and solve complex interaction problems.

Work closely with clients to translate ideas into brilliant user interfaces and experiences.

Collaborate and communicate with developers to ensure execution and consistency of the experience.

Bring fresh and creative ideas to the table.

Ensure consistency in designs and content across all platforms.

Present designs and design systems to clients.

Develop digital storyboards and animation.

A bit about us

Since 2012, we’ve been partnering with people who find truly better ways of doing things. Ideas that make customers’ lives better and change the world they work in.

We’re looking for the person—not the job description. If you’d like to be part of our family, we’d love to hear from you. You may be exactly what we’re looking for… we just don’t know it yet ☺

The must haves

• 6+ years hands-on experience as a UI / UX Designer
• Experience designing complex e-commerce user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
• Thorough understanding of user-centred design, responsive design, mobile first design, and web standards.
• Deep understanding of industry standard tools (in particular Figma)
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of UX processes and methodologies.
• Efficient, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
• Advanced understanding of how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and research to business problems.
• Strong creative instincts and willingness to push further through experimentation
• Ability to get under the skin of clients’ issues.
• Articulate, confident and assertive in presenting work and able to build personal relationships and trust with clients.
• Comfortable engaging with and contributing to the strategic dimension of our work.
• Interested in more than just design and curious about brands and the positive impact they can have on the world.

The nice to haves

• Motion design skills.
• Ability to code.

When and where you’ll work

For 3 days you’ll be free to work where suits you – but 2 day a week you’ll need to come into our office.

We’re based in Liverpool, but this role will include travel, so you’ll need a driving licence or be happy to use public transport to get around. Work life balance is important to us but sometimes there may be a need to meet client deadlines that fall outside normal office hours (this very rarely happens)
